At this age, we’re learning so much about ourselves and the world around us. In order to learn, sometimes you have to make mistakes. Believe it or not, a lot of good can come out of one simple mistake. For example, the first chocolate chip cookie was an accident. Imagine if Toll House never made that mistake. Where would we be right now? Without chocolate chip cookies, am i right? A mistake doesn’t define who you are, it’s how you make an effort to fix it. Like in cheerleading, falling from a stunt is a mistake many teams make. The fall doesn’t define who you are, it’s how you recover. It’s okay to mess up sometimes, just as long as you recover and work hard not to make the same mistake. Give yourself a break, you’re only human.
