Boom! There went Christian Eriksen’s free kick. Over the wall, but saved! Alisson Becker dove for the ball as it was snatched away by the goalkeeper’s gloves.

I witnessed a one of a kind soccer game at Red Bull Arena on July 25, 2017. The time read 7:45 in Harrison, New Jersey, and AS Roma along with Tottenham Hotspur warmed up. Boom! Nainggolan’s shot went straight into the top left corner of the goal!

At around 8:04 pm, the teams finally came out to play some soccer. Screaming fans made this stadium so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other talk. AS Roma started with the ball and the first play couldn’t be better. Almost a goal, but saved.

At the 10’ minute mark, AS Roma argued for a penalty as Tottenham’s defenders accidently hit the ball with their hands. After further review, referee Hilario Grajeda awarded the penalty. Diego Perotti stepped up and hit it into the top right corner.

It approached halftime in Red Bull Arena and some of the substitutes strongly warming up to for action in the second half. The crowd wild while the players came out to play in the second half.

In the second half, 70’ minute, the 18 year old Cengiz Ünder scored for AS Roma to make it 2-0. In the 86’ minute, Spurs managed to put the ball into the net to make the score 2-1. After 5 minutes, Spurs managed to score again!

Literally 20 seconds after kickoff, AS Roma scored to win the game 3-2!
