The following is a full transcript of the interview given by Mr.Salinas to The Warrior Messenger’s Tru Thomas-Rogers about Basketball Tryouts  

(The Warrior Messenger) TRU THOMAS-ROGERS Host:What are you looking for in a basketball player?

MR.SALINAS(COACH OF WMS BASKETBALL):Someone that would be a great teammate.` 

TTR:What kind of characteristics for example?

MS:We need someone who hustles and pays attention and not worrying about what’s happening outside of the basketball court and makes sure that they are focused on the task.

TT-R:What are you looking for in a basketball player?

MS: We need someone to  have a great positive outlook on the season and work to make the team better 

TT-R:How is your coaching style at WMS?

MS:My coaching experience has been great.

TT-R: Describe how your coaching experience is at WMS?

MS: My coaching style is one of understanding that the players are more happy when having the ball in their hands and I try to make sure that I incorporate that in every single session that we have when we are playing?
