“ Hello, I am Mr. Vasquez , the theater teacher.” 

This year, a new teacher has taken his well deserved position as theatre teacher, here at WMS for the 2024, 2025 year. 

“At first when I met [Mr Vasquez]  the first marking period he was a really nice teacher and I didn’t know him that much. Gradually, throughout the year and the class,  I saw how nice he was and how much he cared for his students. He’s a really great teacher to have fun with,” says 8th grade student of Mr. Vasquez, Aiden Delosangeles. 

His class is fun and interactive. Mr Vasquez pushes you out of your comfort zone and into becoming a true actor. He guides you with his skill and teaches you how to have fun and be confident. 

“ I think the class really just taught me how to have fun and be more lively and be carefree,” says Delosangeles.

In his class, you really learn how to bring your imagination to life. Even if you don’t like acting, Mr Vasquez is what makes the class fun and inventive. 

“I feel like it would be great for him to continue for the following years for the new coming students,” Says Delosangeles. “ I would take his class again.”

Anyone with another year of middle school left, I would recommend taking theatre arts next year. It’ll make your long middle school years a lot brighter.
