WMS students are gearing up for the dance on June 18th at 6-8pm at the Acacia Center.

Mrs. Donewitz, the WMS art teacher and dance advisor, explained what students should wear to the dance.  She said, “So we also spend a lot of time organizing activities and having extra time doing different things.  I suggest you can wear whatever is comfortable for you to wear. Some people get really dressed up with super high heels.”

Mrs. Donewitz explained the songs that will be played. She said, ”The dance committee formulates a list of songs and also he will take requests at the dance so you can request a song at the dance to hear it right then in there.”

Kamia Jones, a dance committee student at WMS explained conflict within her dance committee group. She said,  “We haven’t really haven’t had a conflict with each other in the dance committee but if we don’t agree on something we vote on it so we don’t end up arguing they type of music that will be played is our generation music like the music us teens listen to I participate in making the dj list.”
