Tiara Elaxcar, an 8th-grade student at WMS, won Warrior of the Week in May.

Elaxcar explained some of her favorite parts of WMS.  She said, “I think WMS has a great environment, and with especially the teachers, they know how to  help you and they can tell what works for you, and some teachers take their time out of the day to listen to your problems outside of school.”

Elaxcar explained her favorite things that she had learned while in class. She said, “I like some of the experiments we do in science, a lot of the hands-on activities, I feel like those stick with your brain and notes.”

 Elaxcar explained what advice she would give to someone who wants to win student of the month. She said, “Just keep doing what you’re doing, being a good student, paying attention in class, and keeping up with your grades.”

Miss Moorjani, a teacher that Tiara Elaxcar looks up to said that “when she understands the concept and sees an example of symbols, she gets the question right and becomes very happy.”

Moorjani continued to compliment Elaxcar, saying, “She is awesome at paying attention.”
