WMS students, teachers, administrators, and counselors created a testing environment two weeks ago.
Mr Mussachio, the counselor at WMS, talked about how testing went. Mussachio said, “Everything went smoothly, 8th graders did what they were supposed to do, there were no major issues, and I was happy with it.”
Mussachio went on to talk about the advantages of State Testing. He said,” The Advantages of State Testing are that it shows where you are and where you stand in relation to people in the district and also people in the state of New Jersey, And why is that beneficial is cause later on when you get into highschool your gonna take the SAT which is a standardized test so it lets you be aware how well you should be doing on these tests”
Jason Edmands, A student in WMS, talks about the advantages and disadvantages of State Testing. He said, “The Disadvantages of State Testing are the time limit, and the Advantages of State Testing are learning more stuff that you didn’t know before.”
Mr. Mussachio, a counselor at WMS, talks about how he planned the State Testing.
Mussachio said, “The planning starts in October, you start with home rooms and alphabetical order, and then for the 8th grade, you pull out the algebra one kids and make your rooms, and that’s how you organize it.”
