The Rookie is one of the best shows about policing.  I think it is a great show because it shows how cops work in Los Angeles and it makes it seem realistic. I interviewed Makayla Laboy about her opinion on the show.

Overall Opinion:

I think it is a great show because it is always about something else and it gets you invested into it. They also continue making new episodes that are even better than the one before it and it really shows the life of LAPD whilst also having some comedic features.

Laboy explained what she thought of the show overall. She said, ”I think it’s a good show, I really like it, I like how each episode is different and it doesn’t stay the same.”

Rating:

I think I would rate it a 10/10 because as I said before it is different and acted out really realistically. The effects are also really good and never fail to impress me.

Laboy explained what she would rate it out of 10. She said, ”8.5-9 out of 10”

Plot Changes:

I wouldn’t make any changes because everything that happens in the show always had something to contribute to the plot. For instance, if a character dies, it will have a lot of different events after that like finding the person who killed them.

Laboy explained if she would make any changes. She said, ”I wouldn’t because I like how every episode haw a different plot and it makes it more interesting and it keeps me wanting to go back and watch it again”

Why you should watch The Rookie.

I think you should watch The Rookie because it has an insanely good system of events and it seems so real that you can almost think you are there. Each episode has its own turning point, and you get hooked on really easily because of how interesting it is.

Laboy stated her opinion on why you should watch. She said, ”It’s not all fake, but they aren’t real police officers but it also is about real police work and it’s very interesting.”
