What Does This Movie Mean To Me?
The reason why I chose to review Coraline is because it’s a comfort movie for me. Nostalgia is the main reason why, along with the “mere exposure effect.” I would say I watched it at least 10 times, maybe more. I think the plot and its characters are very interesting, which might contribute to why I like it so much.
To this day, Coraline is considered a timeless classic because of its blend of stop-motion animation, fascinating but unsettling story, and themes that resonate with audiences of all ages, such as home, identity, and the courage to fight for what is right.
