Meet Robert Plant, the plant of Woodbridge Middle School, the infamous legend himself. Robert Plant resides in the Journalism classroom, also known as room 307. Mrs. Rodak, who graciously donated Robert, is the sponsor of Mr. Plant. Although this may be true, Mr. Malmstrom keeps him in his room.
Mr. Plant gets watered every other Friday and needs daily sunlight. His name stems from the lead singer of the band Led Zeppelin. Mr. Malmstrom himself named Mr. Plant. The legend himself stands 32 inches high, being the center of attention of the back ledge of room 307.
Quite a few weeks ago, it was discovered that Mr. Plant was growing a second miniature plant inside his pot. Named by his students, Richard Plant was born, standing about five inches on the southeast side of his father, Robert. Richard was named after journalist Richard Plant,
Studies still have not shown any recognition of Mr Plant’s origin as a species in the plant kingdom. However, the door is open for future researchers within room 307 to discover for themselves. The closest scientists have been to his true species is a banana plant, however, it would seem that that is not the case.
And now below is listed a folktale about this legend, created by the townspeople of Malmstopia..
Long ago, in the land of the journalists, Malmstopia beamed with the rays of learning and articles. The journalists wrote and wrote, each article pushing more knowledge into the world. However, something was missing. No amount of publishing or interviewing could fulfill the emptiness on the back ledge of the land.
Books lined the walls, but it was eye-depriving to stare at the letters over and over again.
So, the plantist Mrs. Rodak gifted the land with Robert Plant. He was the first green in the room, a beacon of hope, the first organism besides the journalists in the land, a living non-living thing.
At first, he was side-eyed, unnoticed, and not taken into consideration, but over time, the local journalists saw him for what he was: a wonder, a greatness that was truly unexpected in the cold walls of Malmstopia. He was the apricity in the word-filled land, providing a little bit more oxygen for the land.
He is the legend and the plant, and his legacy will be carried on by Richard Plant, his child, in the coming years. Richard Plant is the rightful heir to the Plant Potness. He is still young and in training, but in a decade, he will be ready to take his father’s throne.
