The drama club has begun practicing for a performance in the spring semester at WMS.
Ms. Early, one of the Drama Club teachers, explained who some students are to talk to for the drama club.
Ms. Early said, “Some of our veteran Drama Club [students] are Maitee Benjamin and Francesca Belocura. There are a lot more 8th graders who have been participating.”
Ms. Early also said cafe night is a showcase of students’ talents, and there are spring skits that are acting and performed by students. This year, one drama performance that we going to put both into it.
One of the veteran drama club students explained what she loves about the drama club. Maitee Benjamin said, “My favorite thing to do is read over the script for the first time with my friends because I connect with the character.”
Benjamin also said, “I love drama club because I do like acting, really fun, I think people should join.”
