Mr. Maneri and the bowling team are rebuilding for the future this year at WMS
Mr.Maneri is the bowling team coach and a teacher at WMS. He talked about the advantages of having veteran players, “So luckily the girl’s team is a lot of returning players with a few new ones so what’s nice about this year is that there’s a lot more knowledge on the team so we can actually take it to the next level.”
He said that the boy’s team had a “rough season but [they] had a great time” and did the best they could and that’s all he could ask for.
Maneri then explained what they need to do to improve. He said, “It’s just practice, especially for the kids that haven’t really bowled before. It’s all about the practice they have to learn where they’re standing and where they’re throwing.”
Braylen Sandklev a 7th grade student at WMS explained that the hardest team they went against was Avenel since they were “really good.”
Sandklev explained that a lot of his teammates were new to bowling so it was a challenge for them.
