EMAAN MUDASSAR: What is your favorite kpop group?

MS. DESCH: My favorite kpop group is GOT7.

EM: Who is your bias?

MD: I love Youngjae, he’s my favorite, I think he has the best voice. And I also love Jackson, I think he’s such a good rapper.

EM: How long have you been stanning GOT7?

MD: It’s been a very long time, since January, 2013. That was the first time I listened to them, and they started on Vine which doesn’t even exist anymore, which is now like Tiktok. So in my senior year of high school was when I started stanning them. 

EM: How did you hear about GOT7?

MD: I heard about GOT7 from my sister Julia, she is a very big kpop fan. Without her I would’ve probably never found them.

EM: What is your favorite song/album by them?

MD: I have so many favorite songs, Stop Stop It (Hajima in korean) is one of my favorites. Teenager, absolute favorite, then Sign but specifically the live version on YouTube. And then also Just Right, but all time favorite I’m going to say Sign and Teenager.
