The definition of bullying is the internal hurting of one person or group by person or group.
Bullying can be verbal, psychological, and even happened online.
When bullying happens the victim and bystanders stay quiet and do not interfere. This leaves the person who is experiencing the bullying feeling stuck, lost, and hopeless.
There was a Bullying case in South Korea called the Cheongju hair curler case that happened in 2006. A girl was bullied physically by a group of girls and high school and they used to burn her with a hair curler on her arms and made her do disgusting things that she didn’t want to do.
She was bullied because she wasn’t as rich as her peers. And the students were aware of her bullying but they didn’t say anything about it and left her there to fend for herself.
This case is one of the most rare cases of bullying but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I believe that this case stands as a reminder of how strong bullying can get and how not saying anything can forever scar someone for life. And just because it is not you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. If you see someone getting bullied DON’T ever hesitate to say something.
