Malachite is a Greek word, which means “mallow-green stone,” because of its leafy green color. Ancient Greeks and Egyptians would use this stone for amulets, sculptures, and pigment for paint.

People say it encourages positive transformation, and that it promotes emotional balance. Malachite symbolizes positive growth, happiness, change, removal of pain, and wisdom.
