This MLB Offseason has begun hot with many different signings including Juan Soto, Cody Bellinger, Blake Snell, and more.
I requested Joshua Lias, Do you think the Mets’ addition of Juan Soto is their missing piece to a World Series? He said “No. I feel like the Mets have a great hitter in their lineup, but they don’t have enough pitching, and their lineup isn’t that great to follow up Juan Soto.”
I discussed with Lias, After the Yankees acquired Cody Bellinger, Devin Williams, and Max Fried, do you think they can remain the top team in the AL? Lias said, “I think so because some of the players they acquired are upgrades from last year.” Next, I asked, The Dodgers acquired many star pieces, including Blake Snell, Tanner Scott, Japan pitcher Roki Saski, and Star KBO infielder Hyeseong Kim. Will they go back-to-back or even break the season record of wins? Lias said, “No, I don’t think so because the Yankees will come out on top over them.”
I asked Lias, The Chicago Cubs got Kyle Tucker and Ryan Pressley from The Houston Astros, will this be enough for the Cubs to make the playoffs for the first time since 2020? Lias said,” I think so because they were right there last year and they just got two all-stars so yes.
I interviewed Joesph Cabrera, Do you think the Mets adding Juan Soto could be their missing piece for a World Series? Cabrera said, “Yes because Juan Soto is a very good hitter and a very good outfielder, and I think that’s what they needed.” Then I asked, after the Yankees acquired Cody Bellinger, Devin Williams, and Max Fried, could they remain the top team in the AL. Cabrera said, “Yes, because Devin Williams is a top closing pitcher and Cody Bellinger is a dual threat he can play first base and outfield.”
I then asked, The Dodgers acquired many star pieces, including Blake Snell, Tanner Scott, Japan pitcher Roki Saski, and Star KBO infielder Hyeseong Kim. Will they go back-to-back or even break the season record of wins? Cabrera said, “It’s tough to determine that because we haven’t seen them play yet but just looking at it I think they could win a World Series.”
I then interviewed Aubrey Petruccelli-Dunn, asking do you think the Mets adding Juan Soto is their missing piece to a World Series. Petruccelli said,” I think Juan Soto is a good player, but I think they could win the World Series, but they still need more hitting and pitching behind Soto. Then I asked, after the Yankees acquired Cody Bellinger, Devin Williams, and Max Fried, could they remain the top team in the AL. Petruccelli said, “Yes, I do because they picked up great hitting and pitching pieces, and also, they’re not done making moves.”
I then discussed that the Dodgers acquired many star pieces, including Blake Snell, Tanner Scott, Japan pitcher Roki Saski, and Star KBO infielder Hyeseong Kim. Will they go back-to-back or even break the season record of wins? Petruccelli said,” I do think they are the best team, and I do think they will make the World Series again.
I interviewed Mr.O, asking do you think the Mets adding Juan Soto is their missing piece to a World Series. Mr.O said, “No, the Mets are going to keep losing. It’s just something I’ve seen over the last few years that unless you’re the Dodgers, you’re playing in another league. My heart tells me the Yankees are going to win next year, they’re going to find the pieces. I saw a statistic about Soto, and I don’t recall it off the top of my head, but there was something that his performance only populated in the last year or two.”
Then I discussed, The Blue Jays brought in Silver slugger Anthony Santander and Gold Glove infielder Andres Gimenez, could they be set up to win their first playoff game since 2016? Mr.O said,” It’s possible, they were about 500 last season, so the Blue Jays can hang tough, I think when you put a couple of pieces in, you have a chance at the playoffs. They could get to the playoffs and get swept or a wildcard win, you never know.”
I then requested, after the Yankees acquired Cody Bellinger, Devin Williams, and Max Fried could they remain the top team in the AL. Mr.O said, “ Absolutely, I think the Yankees are setting themselves up, and they have a great shot at contending this year, and when you put the pieces of the puzzle together and its multiple layers rather than just one all-star, it’s a team game with both offensive and defensive so the more guys you have working together is the better for your team overall.
I think that the Dodgers have won this offseason so far, but the Yankees are one huge move away from stealing the offseason from the Dodgers.
