WMS Student Council has been chosen for 2025 and is here to discuss upcoming events for the 8th grade and the whole school.

8th Grader, Braylon Holman is part of the Student Council. He is the treasurer and he is the one that deals with all the money that goes to all these events that are coming to the school. Holman said that there are going to be events for the school like fundraisers, he doesn’t know the exact date but all the money goes into the 8th Grade trip and dance.

Secretary Micheal Dowling is the one who takes notes of the meeting and helps with the funds. Dowling said that a fundraiser that they have planned is a snack sale at lunch and that for the trips we might go to the American Dream Mall, and if we do go to the mall and there is a lot of chaperones we might be able to go shopping.

Vice President Isabella Seno help the president with the events for the school. Seno said that we had fundraisers that is helping us for the trips and the 8th Grade dance. Two of the fundraisers we had were the Gobble Grams and the Bear Bryson carried around lunch. Seno said the 8th grade dance is going to be at the Acacia Center and “we don’t have that much information.”

President BellaSofia Ortiz is the one who runs everything. Ortiz said we have a meeting with Mr. Panko talking about where we are going for our trip and what is able to see what we can and not do. Ortiz said, ‘’The 8th-grade dance is disco theme and it not at Woodbridge Middle. And the trip, we have three options, one of them is Six Flags or iPlay America’’
