Genshin Impact is an open-world game with characters from different regions and challenges. Genshin Impact has 89 different playable characters. Genshin Impact has 6 different regions to explore and collect chest to also get artifacts and exp materials. Depending on the region depends on what sigils they drop. You can sacrifice some of these sigils to get rewards like primo gems and wishes.
Gameplay/Quest
There are quests to do all over Teyvat incase your bored or have nothing else to do. Some of these quests may unlock hidden parts of Teyvat or sometimes different dimensions and bosses. Each boss has their own boss drop that is needed to ascend characters and their skills to level 8 or above. Each boss has their different terrains, skills, attack patterns and damage. Some bosses have shields that require it to be destroyed and some have moves that do millions of damage and require shields to block it.
Wishing Mechanics
In order to get characters you need to get primogems. Primogems can be acquired by opening chests, doing quests, stories, events, finding way points and unlocking Statues of the Seven. Certain chests give you a certain amount of primogems: Common chest give you 1, Exquisite chest give you 2, Precious chest give you 5 and Luxury chest give you 10. You need at least 160 primogems to do one pull on banners and 1600 to do a 10 pull. There are 3 types of banners: Standard, Main banner and Weapon banner. Main banner you can get any 4 star character but only standard and main 5 star characters. On Standard banner you can only get 7 5 star characters and any 4 star character or 4 or (only certain)5 star weapon. On a Weapon banner you can get 2 main 5 star weapons (Including the certain standard weapons) and 4 characters or weapons. There is a thing called a 50/50 (they changed it to 46/54). If you win the 50/50 you get the featured character or weapon on the banner you wished for. If you don’t win the 50/50 you get a standard 5 star character or weapon you wished for.

Two months ago was Natlans first release was during the 5.0 update. In Natlan there is an orange bar for Natlan characters. When the character’s skill bar runs out they instead use an orange bar over your health bar. This bar is called Phlogiston and can be recharged by molecules of Phlogiston, Phlogiston stations, waypoints and Statues of the Seven. Phlogiston doesn’t exist outside of Natlan. Introduction
Within the Genshin impact community we have seen clips of the Genshin impact anime which is not yet released but pointed towards character building and backstory which are found on the official Genshin Impact Youtube channel. Characters who have gotten an animated short are the playable characters or soon to be playable characters.
The public opinion
Most people do enjoy having a little way for Hoyoverse to go into a little more detail with their characters and backstory but there are some who believe to just put the actual backstory into a quest with cutscenes instead of putting most of it in Youtube. With using Youtube some people just don’t have access at all to those shorts or character demos.
Contents
The content of the animated short is mainly about characters and backstory, past incarnations and more. The community enjoys them with a couple fan favorites being Chlorinde with about 3.4 million views and Arlecchino with 7.8 million views which are both fan favorite characters and great units in the actual game. The shirts usually include slight gameplay trailers with some being more funny and goofy while others more serious and moody.
Conclusion
The anime was not released but so far it is a fan favorite part of Genshin’s Youtube channel with more views than subscribers. It will continue and will probably come out at some point in 2025 or 2026.
