Sonic Mania came out in 2017 to great success.  It’s one of my favorite games in my 7 years of playing video games. Also my brother said, “Hi i’m Nicolas, I play Sonic Mania. I’ve been playing it for 6 years and I love the game”. 

Gameplay: 

You can play as 3 characters and for encore mode you can play as 2 more characters. The characters are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Mighty and Ray. When you finish the main game you get or you can buy encore mode the hard mode. The controls are basic for a sonic game and for mighty and ray the controls are new but not hard to master.

Storyline:  

The new story is decent.  There are new levels, the bosses are challenging, it’s better than classic Sonic games.

Graphics: 

The graphics are very good compared  to the past game sonic lost world. The pixels and colors are vibrant and everything’s great. Sonic Mania has way better graphics than any other sonic game before 2010.

How Does it Stack Up Against Other Sonic Games?:

In my opinion it’s probably top 6th like my brother said, “Top 6th best sonic game in opinion”.

Conclusion: Why people should play it.

People should play Sonic Mania because it’s a brand new classic sonic game. Many people will remember playing the old sonic games when playing this one. This game also brings back old and new stages and bosses.
