STEM club is a club directed by Mr.Olvesen who has been hosting the stem club for Woodbridge Middle School over the past couple years and it’s a club about the creation and study of robotics.
The STEM club is all about the study of robotics and the general problem solving required for reaching a good product using prototypes. That means that the projects and work is about creating prototypes and testing them out to reach a finished product for the objective of who can make a better product overall and use it and see who’s went the farthest in a measurement of going to see which one goes the farthest down the hallways in a rocket launcher race.
The club would be hosted in room 308 and will be starting after the Fall Break and after the baseball season in November. Mr. Olveson said that it would be 2 days a month and hopefully on Wednesdays but with other afternoon clubs running that might be difficult to squeeze in with the other clubs and with time arrangements which should be from 3:05 or 3:15 to 4:00.
Along that there are the students who Mr. Olvesen mentioned and said good things about.
Mr. Olveson sayed that his best students were all pretty good and that Ed Garbon made some good work and the two STEM award winners where Makayla Lerosa and Cody Omer and they were eighth graders who made some really good work but they aren’t in the school anymore and moved on to high school.
