Most people think that sports are made to get you tired and skinny, and there is no point of playing a sport when they don’t realize the absolute beauty of sports. If you are one of those people then you should read this.
Yes, it is true, sports do get you tired and help you get exercise. But there are many more reasons why you should play sports. I will give you 5 reasons why you should play sports including what the meaning of a sport is.
- One reason you should play a sport is because when you play a sport, you get to meet new people that play in that sport, meaning your social abilities will get bigger and stronger.
- Another reason is because sure you get tired, and thirsty, but it helps you grow perseverance, determination, and resistance. Which is very good because if you start young, when you are in your 40’s, you will still be able to run and do many things people in their 40’s can’t do, take Pepe for example, he is a professional Portuguese player and he is 41 years old, but he can still run pretty fast.
- The 3rd reason you should play a sport is because when you play a sport whether basketball, football, soccer, tennis etc. You learn how to be a good sportsmanship and to understand that if you lose, you should be able to realize that the other team won fair and square, and if you win..Please don’t brag about it, no one likes that.

The meaning of sports is not to just win or lose and then just say oh ok well see you next game and forget all about, Sports is not about just competing, winning medals and trophies. It makes us stronger physically and mentally. Sports aren’t to stress us out, it’s about letting out all of our stress and give it our all.
