Deion “ Primetime” Sanders is a 2 sport athlete who played defensive back and punt returner in the NFL and played outfield in the MLB. He played for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49rs, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and the Baltimore Ravens. While in the MLB he played for the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and the San Francisco Giants. He received various awards in his illustrious career including The AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994. While in college he also won the 1988 Jim Thorpe Award. He is also the only athlete to play in a World Series and a Super Bowl.
