Mrs. Dinella will host The Game Club in room 310 on October 15. The club will be held two times a month.
Mrs. Dinella, an advisor at WMS explained her inspiration, she said, “Mrs. Steinberg, who retired last year, was a social studies teacher and she thought that kids have the opportunity to do things that don’t involve screens for entertainment.”
Dinella explained when and where the game club is, Dinella said, “It’s in room 310 and we have two meetings per month and our next meeting is going to be November 13, I believe. In room 310, Ms. Mchale’s room.”
Mrs. Dinella explained how games can relieve stress, Mrs. Dinella said, “I think so, I think just talking to people and playing games releases stress so it seems more like a positive track.”
Dinella explained when the game club started, Dinella said, The Game Club started the year before last year, and it’s her first year being in charge
She talked about what her favorite games were and why, she said, “Lately our favorite game has been Snap Circuits so we make things like light bulbs go off and we make sirens go off so, it’s just connecting circuits to make fun things happen so that’s really what’s been going on lately. But my favorite board game is probably Battleship.”
She explained why she likes Battleship , “Why do I like Battleship? Because I feel like there is a little bit of luck, but I feel like there is a little bit of strategy that you need to put into it.”
