Marylin Monroe, born June 1, 1926, is known for her modeling and acting. She has starred in a plethora of movies and is a very well-known Hollywood actress. Although Monroe died on August 4, 1962, at only 36 years old, her legacy remains as one of the best pop-culture icons.
