The following transcript of the interview given by Amelia Carrero Nunez to Emily Zielinski and Stella Montalvo of the Warrior Messenger About art as a passion
STELLA MONTALVO: Hi I’m Stella from the Warrior Messenger do I have your consent to record?
AMELIA CARRERO NUNEZ: Yes.
SM: What or who got you interested in doing art?
ACN: I started doing it as a kid. I thought wow I like this. I also watched a lot of animations on YouTube and I wanted to draw like them.
SM: If you were any famous artist who would you be and why?
AC: I don’t know a lot of famous artists. Maybe some animators on YouTube I always wanted to draw like them.
SM: In your opinion, what art piece do you like best, the “Mona Lisa” or “Starry Night” and why?
AC: Starry Night. The Mona Lisa reminds me of an alien who freaks me out.
SM: If you messed up on a painting or drawing how would you react and or fix it?
AC: I would act like the mistake was part of the drawing. If it was a pencil I would erase it.
SM: How long have you been doing art?
AC: My whole life. But I really started liking it in 2020 because there was nothing to do.
SM: What is your most used art supply?
AC: My pencils. They are dying in rapid numbers.
SM: If you drew or painted an art piece and two museums asked for it what would you do?
AC: If making two wasn’t an option I would just pick the one that would pay me the most money and doesn’t scam me.
SM: If you owned an art museum and you had the choice to add one famous painting which one would you add?
AC: The Mona Lisa.
SM: And the last question is, how do you come up with an idea of what I want to draw.
AC: I just do whatever I want to and get creative.
SM: Thank you for your time.
AC: You’re welcome.
