The following is a full transcript of the interview given by Mrs. Chesney to Kemora Simmons and Emir Diaz of The Warrior Messenger about teaching and motherhood
KEMORA SIMMONS: What is your favorite part of being a mother?
MRS. CHESNEY: Seeing my child grow up saying ‘I love you.’
KS: What do you hope for your future kids?
MC: I hope they’re happy and healthy.
KS: Do you think your kid’s going to be a great mother in the future?
MC: My daughter would be a great mother when my child grows up.
KS: Before you knew you had a baby did you want a girl or boy more?
MC: I did not think about that at the time. If I wanted a girl or boy, I didn’t care, but if had to pick right now it is a girl.
KS: What are your kids’ names?
MC: Sadie and Ellie
KS: What do you hope for your future kids?
MC: For them to be happy and have a great life.
KS: If you still teach in 12 or 11 years do you plan to be in your children’s school?
MC: No, because I feel like my children need space.
KS: How does it feel being a mother of two kids?
MC: I mean I’m still not a mother of 2 but when I am it will be great to have kids because they can be there for each other.
KS: Do you want more kids and why?
MC: I’m ok with two kids. I’m thankful and happy with two.
EMIR DIAZ: If you could have another baby what would you name them and why?
MC: I don’t know what I will name it yet.
KS: What is your accomplishment for this school year?
MC: Help the kids have a great year.
KS: What would it be if you could change anything about your job?
MC: I wouldn’t change anything she likes it how it is.
KS: How long do you want to teach for?
MC: As long as I can teach for.
