WMS has assembled the peer leaders to create assemblies, and travel to other schools like elementary schools.
Three Peer Leaders, Mia Muilenburg, Aliyah Skeete, and Victoria Tuju, talked briefly about their experiences.
Mia Muilenburg, a WMS 7th grader and part of the
Peer Leaders program, said, “We went to Fords and taught them about black history month.” Muilenburg explained that they are hard-working people who do good things for WMS.
Aliyah Skeete, a 7th grader, explained how she felt about being a peer leader, saying, “They are very kind, thoughtful people who love to work together.”
Victoria Tuju, a 7th grader, talked about what she thought about the Peer Leaders, saying, “It is amusing to get to know a lot of kids that we never talked to before.”
