The  student of the month was announced on Friday before the winter break, Tashi Jefferson and Dylan Christine were surprised when they won.

Tashi Jefferson said, “yes, plus she was not prepared  for this she was dressed very festively.” Dylan Christine said he was a bit nervous, “yeah a little bit, I felt that it meant a lot to me everyone was proud .”

Tashi said that she was nervous when she was picked.  She commented,“I was so nervous, I had to go to the stage.” Jefferson went on to explain why she became student of the month, “from being a nice person and helping other people succeed.”

Dylan said he “just works hard, focuses and listens to the teacher.”  Dylan explained that he is proud of the award, “Yes, it shows you have been responsible. Tashi also said, “Yeah, I felt pretty good about being a good example to children.”

Tashi went on to explain that it was nice to see the students and teachers support her, she says she saw “kids and teachers cheering her on from the side, so were my friends, which made me really happy.”
