Steven Universe is a cartoon on Hulu kids for all ages. The main characters are Steven,Garnet,Pearl and Amethyst. Garnet is a fusion of 2 gems Sapphire and Ruby. There is a secret civilization of humanoid gems called the Intergalactic Empire. Each gem has a role: Diamonds the royals,Pearls the servants,Rubys the guards and Lapis lazulis the destroyers. There are 4 diamonds:Blue Diamond of sorrow,Yellow diamond of war,Pink diamond of healing(faked her death and died giving birth to Steven) and White diamond of mind control.

Lapis lazuli or so called the Mirror gem got stuck in a mirror on earth and is given the mirror. Then figures out how to release her. When he does she befriends him but later on attacks Garnet,Amethyst and Pearl.They beat her down until she explains everything and eventually calls a truce. Later on they all become closest friends and are now the best of friends. Fun fact,did you know that Lapis lazulis in Steven Universe are able to manipulate water at their will?
