The following is a full transcript of the interview given by Mr. McGuire to the Warrior Messenger’s Matthew Velez about the empanada sale at school.
Matthew Velez: Who had the idea of selling the empanadas? Where did you get the empanadas?
Mr. McGuire: Mr Salinas and Ms. Valente, we had this sale last year. We are picking it up tomorrow from Surrender Cafe.
Matthew Velez: Will you do the sale again?
Mr.McGuire: Absolutely! I hope it becomes a tradition for many years to come.
Matthew Velez: Is there anything you would like to add?
Mr.McGuire The only other thing I would like to add is that we have a google site for diversity equity and inclusion at WMS . You can find the link to that on the WMS website and that will show you all the celebrations we do throughout the year. From the week of inclusion to hispanic heritage month and in November we have native american heritage month as well.
