One Person

IT’S OKAY – Be confident in yourself and what you do; have no regrets.

To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world.

This shows the difference that people can make in your life, and even the people who may think that their existence is vague and not important can mean something to someone.

I think knowing the people around you is important. Knowing who sits next to you, knowing who’s in your classes, knowing who you go to school with; I like knowing people.

Because some of them mean the world to me, like the girl who smiles at everyone in the halls and her essence is just something to be grateful for. The old lady who asked me how my day is going every single day, and who’s laugh echoes throughout my brain and throughout the world itself, and the teacher who understands that you cannot do everything, and as her headache grows louder and more painful, it’s okay because she’s helping out others.

These people mean something. Yes, they may not know it because we could barely talk but they mean something to me. You mean something to me.

To your guardian, to your siblings, to your friends, to your teachers, to your classmates, and to that random girl in the hallway. You mean something.

And to the world, you may be one person, but to me, you make my world.
