Everyone dancing and having fun together .

Gaby Fernandez and

Woodbridge Middle School threw a 6th grade dance to celebrate all the participation in the school year so they could have a break and hang out with friends on November 23, 2016.

The school thanks our wonderful school counselor, Ms.Torrella, and teacher, Ms.Kupcho.  They came up with the idea for the snack cart ,which helped raise enough money for pretzels, McDonald’s cheeseburgers, hamburgers, water, and cookies.  Also, the students got to pick the songs they wanted to hear, thanks to DJ Mr.Sosa who will be at every school dance. Frankie Sosa, DJ Mr. Sosa’s son, said,”yes, my dad did great.”

Students such as Ricky Nagy and Madison Rackett enjoyed things like the music and the DJ. Ricky Nagy said, “I had a great time mostly hanging out with my friends.” Madison Rackett said, “I had a fun time dancing.”

Most of the students enjoyed the food, and students said that the DJ made everything feel like an actual dance.  Ms.Torella said,’’I saw the students having fun, enjoying the music, and the lights. Even the staff was having a good time watching the students have a good time.”

What made everything better was that all the students behaved and will now get more privileges.  Ms.Torella said,’’she would like to thank the PTO for giving us water and cookies, and she would like to thank McDonalds for giving us some of their  cheeseburgers for the  students,” We cannot wait until the 7th and 8th grade dance!
