Stereotypes Are Wrong By: Chloe Monsanto

Why treat us differently?

We’re all the same.

Opinions do not make us less beautiful.

Water does not tame the fire in our soul.

Why say those words?

We’re all the same.

Makeup does not cover up the hurt.

Curling irons do not burn out the tears.

Why throw us around like we’re objects?

We’re all the same.

Dresses do not hide the pain.

The color blue does not make us less feminine.

Why shame us?

We’re all the same.

Skirts do not make us tramps.

Braids do not form happiness.

Stereotypes are wrong.
