JAYSON BRADLEY PITCHING STRIKES AGAINST COLONIA MIDDLE DURING EXTRA INNINGS FOR THE WIN!!

The WMS boys baseball team won the championship game against Colonia Middle 9-3, with wonderous pitching efforts by Brett Lukachyk, Ricky Nagy, and Jayson Bradley. The Warriors really hit this one out of the park!

Jayson Bradley, an 8th grader, pitched in the game. He says he felt “amazing” after he pitched and thought he did “pretty well”.  J.Bradley had to play with an injury, he says, “It hurt, probably a 7/10, but I just battled through it because it was the championship.” He says that he was the most proud of how his team “kept their heads in the game” and “never gave up”.

Ty Kobylakiewicz, a 7th grader on the team, says that it felt “amazing” to win when it was only his first year on the team. “The game was very exciting, it went into 8 innings!” he says. When asked what he felt his biggest accomplishment was in this game he said that he got a hit and brought in a run in the 7th inning. Kobylakiewicz says that his father is somebody that inspires him, “He always pushes me to be better.”

Dylan Bradley, says he has been playing baseball since he was six. He is in 8th grade. He says that he felt like a leader because he was cheering the whole time. D.Bradley says that Mr. Thompson motivated him throughout the game. D. Bradley says that Thompson got “hype” and encouraged the team to “keep up the hard work”. D. Bradley finishes by saying, “We played well and I am very proud of the 7th graders.”
