Oct 26, 1881- Shootout at the OK Corral

On Oct. 26 the Earp brothers faced the McLaury gang in OK Corral in Tombstone, Arizona.

The Earps were police officers. Wyatt Earp is a former police officer and is a bank security officer. Virgil and Morgan were Marshals. They were also known to be corrupt.
Their enemies were the McLaury gang, which also are partners of the Clanton brothers.

The fight took place in a vacant lot beyond OK Corral. No one knows who shot first, but after the shootout Billy Clanton and the McLaury brothers were dead. Doc Holliday, Virgil, and Morgan Earp were injured.

The battle lasted 30 seconds with thirty shots fired. Also, no charges were given out.
